My name is Cynthia Drogula and I have been a general surgeon for 17 years. I have
traveled
on several missions with the Medical Mission Group since the inaugural trip in 2009.
On each trip I have been amazed by the courage and grace of the people in the countries that we have visited.

As the mother of four children, I am especially moved by the desperate situations of the parents of sick children in third world nations who have no way to obtain surgical care for their little ones. |
| I also enjoy contributing to the global surgical community through our interactions with the physicians and surgeons in our host countries. Innovations can be shared that will continue to benefit our patients after the mission has been completed. |  |
