Nelson H. Goldberg, M.D.
Vice President

Between 1985 and 2006, I was the head of the Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Maryland. I was a co-founder and co-director of the Hopkins/Maryland combined training program in plastic surgery between 1989 and 2006. During that time, I helped train over 50 board certified plastic surgeons.

I have taken part in twelve medical missions since 1996. I have traveled to Guyana with Project Dawn; Thailand and China with Changing Children's Lives; and El Salvador, Nicaragua, Colombia, and Peru with Healing the Children North East.

I have a strong desire to bring surgical treatment to areas that are lacking, and to help train local caregivers in modern surgical practice.

I also enjoy introducing young surgeons to the world of international medicine in order to expand access for children and adults in underserved areas.
